June Adair Hunt

Mrs. June Adair Hunt, born on September 16, 1940 in Madisonville, TX, passed away on February 26, 2021 in The Woodlands, TX at the age of 80. June was an employee of Southwestern Bell - having been employed for 36 years with perfect attendance - until her retirement. Even after retirement, she moved along and decided to continue working; having been employed as an Admission Clerk with Northeast Hospital, and then as a Secretary with Splendora High School.

June is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey & Maude Sandel; her husband, Elliot Lyndon Hunt; sons, Lyndon Dane Hunt, and Richard Montgomery Hunt; brother-in-law, Melvin Kennedy; brother & sister-in-law, Billy and Blanche Sandel; sister, Bobbie Lea Kaptchinskie.

She is survived by, her son & daughter-in-law, Joey and Joan Hunt; sister-in-law, Virginia Moore; brother-in-law, Gilbert Kaptchinskie; sisters, Christine Thiele, and Darlene Kennedy; brother & sister-in-law, Joe and Peggy Sandel; grandsons, Brandon Hunt, Stephan Hunt; granddaughter, Shannon Hunt; granddaughter & husband, Candice & Bernard Finney; great granddaughters, Kara Ann Finney, Alyssa Finney, & Starla Finney; grandson & wife, Sean and Amber Hunt, granddaughter, Rhae Lynn Hunt; grandson, Landon Hunt; grandson, Logan Lord; granddaughter & husband, Wendy Leigh & Cody Wright; great granddaughter, Faith Wright; grandson and wife, Jeremiah & Leslie Hunt; great granddaughter, Abigail Hunt; granddaughter, Holly Hunt; great grandson, Leonardo Urquaiga; grandson, Kenneth Hunt; great grandson, Alexander Hunt.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Services celebrating June's life will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Faith Bible Church in The Woodlands with Pastor Bruce Hollen officiating. Graveside Services and Interment will be at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the High Prairie Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas.
