Kevin John Ilges, born April 18, 1954 in Breese, Illinois and passed away February 19, 2012 in Kingwood, Texas. He worked for Shell Oil for 31 years with his last position being the Senior Advisor to President – US Business Affairs and the last two years was the Senior Vice President for the Texas Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Loretta Ilges; son, Andy; daughter, Erin; parents, Lavern and Florence Ilges; brother, David Ilges (Terri); sister, Susan Borgelt (Mike); sister-in-law, Carol (Rich) Marrese; brother-in-law, Jerry (Geri) Monicke; nieces and nephews, Ryan (Heather), Kyle, Chris (Tifany), Amy (Rob), Brook (Zach), Allison (Mark), Sue (Greg) and Rich (Jenny). Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 with a vigil service starting at 7 PM at Kingwood Funeral Chapel, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Parkway, Porter, Texas 77365. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to your charity of choice.
