We were so sorry to hear about Kim.  She was always so loving to our children.  She helped her girls learn to babysit for our kids.  It was wonderful to have her right next door for guidance as I was a new mom.  I think of her often. I know she will be missed.  As others have also said, family meant so much to her.  There will be much to remember about Kim.  I am glad we knew her.  Our thoughts are with all of you at this time.

I was shocked to hear of Kim's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was Dottie's friend from UNO and we often came down the bayou when we had the chance. Kim gave a couch and love seat when we set up housekeeping. I was always very grateful for them.

Kim was such a delightful friend.  What a beautiful service for her—it was a lovely celebration.  Zach, thank you for sharing about your mom (and what a beautiful daughter you have).    The sweet part of this bitter time, is that I have enjoyed getting to see & meet each of you.  Kim always shared about each of you and so I felt like I knew you.  It was so evident that she loved you so much;  she really enjoyed her family -- and what a blessing that is.
I remember Kim graciously offering to teach me to knit.  We traveled to Old Towne Spring for a trip to the knitting shop so I could get the right tools (and of course enjoyed a lunch out there).   Next visit, she showed me the technique as well as inspired me with some of her lovely pieces she was working on.  After a while I realized that knitting was “’not my gift”, so we gave up on the knitting class and just enjoyed visiting over lunch.  She was a sweet friend and I will miss her.

What a blessing Kim was to our entire family!  How I appreciate her care and love for my children, as well as all the kids on the street. It was truly a joy to raise our kids together on our little cul-de-sac.  Kim was a wonderful wife and mother, a classy lady and a true friend!  Our love and our prayers for your comfort in this terrific loss are with you all.

Words will never express the sorrow I feel for all of you during this time. Kim was a wonderful friend to know & I will miss her deeply.

Our hearts go out to your family.  Kim was an amazing woman.  She touched those she knew in a very personal way with her compassion and love for life.  Her family was everything to her.
