Oh Laura, you have been on my mind so much lately.  I miss you so much. I am so blessed to have been your friend. From day one in 1996 you have occupied a special place in my heart.  God called Lawrence home last year. Take care of him til I join you guys. Love you and Harry ❤.

Laura blessed so many people with her faith and kindness. She will be greatly missed, but her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever. Praying that you’ll find comfort in your memories of her and in the knowledge that others are missing her, too.

Bruce and I loved Laura.  
Laura was a part of Bruce's life from the time he was in grade school.  She took care of his grandfather, Frank Bender, and after we lost him, she took care of us.  
She was like our second mother - when she told us to do something, we jumped to it.  (I think our respective mothers were jealous.)   We think of her fondly and often.
The world is a much poorer place without Laura and Harry.

Dear Josephia, Anastasia, Josephine, Gabriella, and Ted,
Aunt Laura Belle will always hold a special place in my heart. When I was growing up, she was one of the people I could rely upon as a source for good unbiased advice. She had so many adages she would use, my favorite was “leave your purse on the floor and you will always be broke and penniless”. I will treasure our late-night conversations over the telephone and the laughter we shared. 
I also want to express to Josephia, Anastasia, Josephine, Gabriella, and Ted, my deepest thanks for being such compassionate and competent caregivers to Aunt Laura Belle during the years she bravely battled Alzheimer’s. 


Many fond memories and meals with Laura Belle and Harry, but none better than those when the two of them would storm 4611 North St. in Nacogdoches to put on a clinic for us boys on the finer arts of Cajun cuisine. They're together again. And now, they belong to the ages. Love, Jed & Tracy

Laura and Harry a truly heavenly married couple together again in God's paradise. I remember Laura as an excellent homemaker,dedicated loving wife and mother,and her passion as an avid collector of antiques.
