

Mabel E. Zettlemoyer, born November 3, 1915 to John T. and Rachel Smith in White Hall, Pennsylvania died October 7, 2010 in Huffman, Texas at the age of 94. Mrs. Zettlemoyer retired from Peter Paul, Inc. in Naugatuck, CT and was a member of Kingwood United Methodist Church, Kingwood United Methodist Women’s Club, Past Matron of the Evergreen Chapter #22 Order of Eastern Star, member of Amani Court #72 Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, as well as actively supported her husband in his participation in the Masonic Lodge and Arabia Shrine, supporting and raising funds for Shriners Hospital. Mrs. Zettlemoyer is preceded in death by her husband, Francis; two sisters; one brother; daughter, Dolores Fischer; and great grandson, Matthew Skinner. She is survived by her son, Joseph “Joe” Zettlemoyer and his wife and Mabel’s best friend, Helen of Huffman, TX; grandchildren, Carl Zettlemoyer and his wife, Connie of Glasgow, KY, Kevin Zettlemoyer and his wife, Pam of Kingwood, TX, Brian Zettlemoyer and his wife, Melissa of Kingwood, TX, Steven Zettlemoyer and his wife, Kelli of Cypress, TX, and Todd Zettlemoyer and his wife, Robin of Kingwood, TX, Jeryl Fischer Strauss and her husband, Mark of Greenville, Indiana, Linda Fischer Oeth and her husband, Carl Jr. of Henderson, KY, Karen Fischer Nemeth of Perry, Iowa, Nancy Fischer Skinner and her husband, Tim of Beavercreek, Ohio, Susan Fischer Klotzback and her husband, Jack of Nashville, TN; 23 great grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 11, 2010 at Kingwood United Methodist Church, 1799 Woodland Hills Dr., with the Reverend Jim Welch officiating.
