Margaret Rita O'Brien Corrigan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Peggy) Rita O’Brien Corrigan, aged 80, on April 7, 2025, at Kingwood Senior Center. Peggy was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 9, 1944. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and true friend.

Peggy, known to her six grandchildren as Grammy, lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She always put others' needs ahead of her own and was known for her infectious smile, wisdom, generosity, and devoted faith.

Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Bridget O’Brien; her uncle and aunt, Tom and Mary Treacy; Siblings, William O’Brien, Kathleen O’Brien Leis, and Theresa O’Brien O’Shea. She is survived by her daughter Tracy Corrigan DuBois and son-in-law Matthew of Celina, Texas; son Dennis Corrigan and daughter-in-law Hillary Corrigan of Austin, Texas; daughter Katie Corrigan Orth and son-in-law David Orth of Kingwood, Texas; six grandchildren, Finnegan DuBois, Grace DuBois, Adam Orth, Sarah Orth, Kelly Orth, and Eilish Corrigan; sister Rosemary O’Connell and brother-in-law John O’Shea; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St Martha’s Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Peggy’s name.

A Mass Service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, TX 773655.
