Mark Brian Phillips

Mark Brian Phillips was born September 6, 1965, and passed away at the age of 46 on July 1, 2012. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, and is survived by his wife, Nancy Bose Phillips, and two children, Kyle and Mackenzie. Mark graduated from Purdue University in 1988 with a degree in Industrial Management and worked 23 years in the Information Technology field. Mark was an avid supporter of Kingwood High School athletics. He served in a number of ministries at Kingwood Church of Christ and enjoyed travel with his family.

Mark was the oldest son of Steve and Beverly Phillips of Keller, Texas. His sister, Kim, lives in Dallas with her son, Daniel. He was preceded in death by a younger brother, Scott. Cathy Phillips, his sister-in-law, lives in Fenton, Missouri, with her children, Chelsea and Ethan. He is also survived by grandparents, Jerry Dunn, Dorothy Phillips, Kenneth Phillips and his wife Jo, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingwood Church of Christ, 2901 Woodland Hills Drive, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at Make a Memorial Donation - JDRF or Kingwood All Sports Booster Club (KASBC).
