Mary Lorena Murphy

Lorena is preceded in death by her parents, John Hayes Tucker and Wilma Fortenberry Banks, her loving husband of 55 years, Samuel Monroe Murphy, two brothers, James Derek and Wesley Tucker and her son, Stanley Michael Murphy.

Survivors include her brother, Hayes Winfred Tucker (Ann), her children, Thomas Derek Murphy (Margaret) and Lisa Murphy Crain (William), her four grandchildren, Jeremy (Karen), Samuel Patrick and Victoria Murphy and Nicholas Eubanks, and her great-grandchild, Isabelle Nicole Murphy.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Strawbridge United Methodist Church, 5629 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, Texas 77345.

The funeral service will be held at Wilcox Funeral Home, 106 Jordan Street, Carthage, Mississippi 39051, on Saturday, February 9, 2013. Visitation will be on Friday, February 8, 2013 beginning at 5 p.m. Lorena will be laid to rest with her husband in Wiggins Cemetery in Carthage, Mississippi.
