Melissa was born on April 13, 1962, in Houston, to David Glen Eckholm and Doris Adele Routch. She made her home in Kingwood and worked as a Listing Agency Manager for RectorSeal. Melissa was all about her family. She loved watching her butterfly garden and was a stickler for details.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Frank Schoenberg; her sons, Leonard Donald Lyons III and Brandon Glen Lyons; and her granddaughters, Lily Kohana Lyons, Hailey Aurora Lyons, and Katelyn Kinley Lyons.
A Celebration of Life And Reception will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339, US, on October 17, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
