

Michael John Naquin Jr., born on January 14, 1971, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly due to undiagnosed cardiac issues at his home in Kingwood on November 1, 2025, at the age of 54. A resident of Kingwood, Texas, Michael was a resilient and loyal individual, beloved by all who knew him.
Michael devoted more than 25 years to a distinguished career in sales within the oil and gas industry in the Houston area. He was admired for his integrity, perseverance, and warmth, and he built enduring relationships with clients and colleagues alike. His genuine character and strong work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of all who worked with him.
Balancing his professional achievements with his greatest source of pride, his family, Michael was a devoted and faithful husband and father. He cared for his youngest daughter Britney’s unique needs with boundless love, patience, and dedication, embodying the very best of a husband and father. Outside of work, he found joy in Cajun cooking, staying active through regular workouts, and spending time with friends doing various activities and hobbies — passions that reflected his love of life and his Louisiana roots.
Michael was preceded in death by his son Aaron John Richard, his mother Silvia Naquin, sister Mary Naquin, his father-in-law, John Dale Richard, and other loving members of the Naquin family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Charlene Richard Naquin, daughters, Halie Richard McGrath and husband Christopher McGrath of Austin and Britney Nicole Naquin of Kingwood; his father, Michael John Naquin, Sr; sister, Scarlette Naquin and brother Chance Naquin and wife Laurin, and numerous other family and friends.
The family invites friends and loved ones to gather for a visitation at Kingwood Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 p.m. An escorted procession to Brookside Memorial Park will follow for graveside services at 2:00 p.m.
