Michael “Mike” Witterick died in his home on March 29, 2022, in Kingwood, Texas due to complications associated with brain cancer. He was 73 years old. Mike was born on February 8, 1949, in Austin, Texas to Norman and Joyce Witterick.
Mike Witterick served in the Army as a medic during the Vietnam war until he was discharged on September 26, 1972.
Mike Witterick recently retired from his career as a logistics coordinator for ExxonMobil.
Mike Witterick is survived by his daughter, Lara Flores, her children Cole, Kendall, and Blakely of Houston TX; nephew, John and wife Kayla Witterick and their children, Kimberly, Rosa, Jaden, Emma, Owen, Leah, Tyson, Jackson, and Elijah of Kingwood, TX; niece, Sarah and husband Todd Ramirez and children, Taylor, Todd, and Joseph of Salem, OR; niece, Rachael Witterick and children, Tyler and Justin of Salem, OR; niece, Erica and husband Michael Harbin and children, Chellicee and husband Edward Sheriff and their daughter, Harper, Dakota Cloud and wife Allison, and Tyler and wife Abbi Harbin of Ft. Worth, TX; aunt, Barbara Witterick of Santa Barbara, CA; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Mike Witterick will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held for him at the Kingwood Funeral Home at 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood TX 77339. The service will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., there will be a small reception following the funeral.
