Mike English

Funeral Services for Mike English, age 69 of Kingwood, Texas will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas. Visitation will begin at 11:00am, with the service starting at 12:00pm, and a reception to follow.

Mike was born on January 5, 1954 in Panama City, Florida to John and Connie English and passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023.

His career was in Medical Sales and he retired from Medline Industries as a Vice President of Regional Sales in 2015. It was at this time that he chose to move, with his wife, Andrée, to the Great Smokey Mountains of Western North Carolina that he loved dearly. He returned to Kingwood January of 2022.

Mike excelled at sports. Even as a child of nine years, he played for a championship little league baseball team in Bartow, Florida. As a teen, he quarterbacked the Bartow High School football team. As an adult Mike played softball, tennis and of course his beloved golf.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Andrée Abadie English, his son John Matthew English and wife, Meredith Janney English and two grand children, Elliot Rae English and John Michael English II. He is also survived by his brother, Steven Denis English and wife, Patricia O’Reilly English.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Henry English, mother, Connie Crawford English and his brother, Jesse Don Beasley.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
