Born in Austin, Texas, on September 11, 2017, Oli brought light and love to so many, in every place he lived - from Harrogate and Epworth in England, to Austin and Kingwood in Texas. He was a proud student of Springwater School, St. Luke’s School, and Atascocita Springs Elementary.
He is loved and missed by his parents, Brett and Kayli Carroll; sisters, Ava and Eden Carroll; grandparents, Paul and Sue Carroll, Cathy Erickson, and Troy and Paula Sanders; great-grandmother, Kaye Harris; uncles, Greg Carroll and Kent Richardson; aunts, Charlene Richardson, Emily Carroll, and Bayli Erickson; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
Oli was born with Leigh’s Syndrome, a rare mitochondrial disease, which he faced with strength and a brave spirit that touched everyone he met. Though he never spoke, his big blue eyes, bright smile, gentle hands, and warm hugs said more than words ever could.
He loved dinosaurs, nursery rhymes with actions, swimming, silly noises and faces, and being surrounded by his sisters, family and friends. Oli enjoyed watching sports with Daddy and cuddling close with Mommy.
