Ace was a professional illustrator, a former pro musician, graphic designer and art director, audio engineer and producer, TV director and producer, photographer and videographer, indie and short film director, and a writer of fiction, technical manuals, and comedy.
Ace is survived by his ex-wife, Diana Layton, his son, Otwell Asa Layton, III, a half-sister, Shelley Stricker Hodges, and numerous cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otwell Asa Layton, Sr. and Peggy Sue Shelton Stricker.
He was greatly loved, and will be greatly missed.
