Paul Russell Johnson

Paul worked hard in the oil industry, but knew how to play hard, as well. He was an avid sports fanatic who love watching NASCAR, golf, as well as anything that would activate his competitive spirit. Of all that he accomplished, Paul is and always will be known for being a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Paul leaves behind his wife of 57 year Betty Jane, his daughters Paula and her husband David Askew, and Cindy and her husband Tommy Zorn; sister Jo Kirk; grandchildren, Jeremy Askew and wife Jill, Jacob Zorn and wife Krissie, Taylor Askew and wife Brandy, and Zackery Zorn; great grandchildren Davin, Wyatt, and Keilee Askew, Brody Zorn, Tyler Askew, and Conner Zorn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul is predeceased by his parents Burley Tender and Lucille Marie Johnson, sister Peg Boles, and brother Bill Johnson.

Care for Mr. Johnson and his family are under the direction of Kingwood Funeral Home.
