So sorry to hear of Perry's passing. Neighbors while we lived in Kingwood, we always enjoyed chats while hanging out in our yards. Thoughts and prayers to the whole family. If we have time to stop during our trip to IAH and Austin next week, we will stop by to see Charlotte.

Hugs and prayers,

When I was last in Houston, four years ago, my cousin Perry Joe wanted to see me, even though I had not seen him in years. He invited me to dinner in a restaurant with his his wife, Charlotte. I almost never got there, due to the Houston rush hour(s) traffic, which I had not planned for. I so much appreciated his invitation, seeing his house, visiting with him and Charlotte, and had having dinner with them, that I will forever be grateful for the opportunity. I especially feel that now. I attach a photo of him at dinner.

I met Charlotte in 1988 when I became an employee of Northeast Medical Center Hospital where she was also an employee. My husband Jim and I met Perry shortly thereafter and have had a long and wonderful friendship since then. Even though we moved away from the area in 1999 when we retired, we have remained close friends through the years. We fondly remember all of the St Patrick's Day parties we enjoyed together at Mama Hatties in Humble. We will never forget all of the other great times we spent together. R.I.P, dear Perry and may the love and kind thoughts of all of your multitude of friends enfold you, my dear Charlotte.

We have many happy memories of talks with Perry as he walked his dog, Blue, down our street. We talked dogs, life, kids and cars...especially cars! Corvettes and El Caminos. Perry always had a smile for us. That is how we remember him!

I have such fond memories of Perry Joe going all the way back to my teen years when he came to Gulfport for summer camp at Gulfport Field and then at EDGAR family reunions. And, then what a love story with Charlotte! What a great guy and a wonderful couple with memories and influences that will go on. Jane and I send love and hugs to Charlotte, Perry and Terrie. We will see you all at the service.
