

Mr. Haddox retired after 25 years of public service to the citizens of Harris County, Texas. He was also an active member of local Southern Baptist churches, last a member of Green Valley Baptist Church. Those who mourn his departure and cherish his memories include his devoted wife of over 64 years, Jeanette Creel Haddox, daughters Sandra Haddox, Cynthia Hassey, and Yvonne Shafer (Jerry Shafer), son Darrell Haddox (Starla Haddox), grandchildren Valerie Bazar (Marty Bazar), Kristy Marshall, Cody Fields, Samantha Compton (Ben Compton), Trevor Garcia, Darrell "Bud" Haddox II, Dana Garcia, and Cathryn Haddox, great grandchildren Damon Terry, Quinton Marshall, Kiana Marshall, Cloe Fields, Clea Fields, Logan Fields, Skyler Fields, Colby Garcia, Corbin Garcia, Hope Garcia and Symphony Compton, and many family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339. The funeral service will also take place at Kingwood Funeral Home on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Haddox will be taken to his final resting place at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, Texas.
