Richard Allen passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 29th. Our community will be less bright without this wonderfully unique man. Everyone who worked with Richard knew of his willingness to help complete difficult tasks, to take time to chat with the kids, or just be an ear to listen when anyone needed to talk.

Please help donate to the Allen family during this emotional time to help take some of the financial burden off their shoulders. Every little bit helps and I know they will be extremely grateful for any donation. If you can't donate at this time, please help by sending your love and thoughts.

Please also send continuous prayers for peace, strength and healing.

Richard, I'm so sad that we lost touch over the years, but you were never far from my thoughts. I talked about you often. I wish I had known we lived so close to each other. We could've reconnected and that is a regret I have. We became close friends our senior year of HS and those memories will stay with me. This world is missing a special person! I know it was better with you in it. I hope to see you again someday my dear friend. I miss you. Love ya! Kadee

Richard,
Although we went separate ways in life, you were a cherished friend. You opened my world to many new things and helped shape my view of the world. I will always be greatful. The world has lost a bit of sparkle with your passing. You will be missed good sir.

My dear, sweet, precious, Richard Allen. I am so sad that you left us so soon. We reconnected about 7 years ago. While we kept in touch over the course of those 7 years, I can't remember the last time I saw you in person. It really may have been the day we graduated high school in 1995. I didn't know your new circle of friends. I didn't know your wife. I didn't know if there were people surrounding you that knew what a gem you were...what a beautiful soul you were. At your Memorial Service I found out exactly who your friends, and your beautiful wife are, and I am filled with happiness. You, sir, were loved. You were so loved. I saw it on the faces of everyone in that room at your Memorial. I know you needed Lindsay, and she has told me several times, how much she needed you. You two were perfect for each other. I am so thankful you found her and she found you. I am so thankful for the friends and family you have that love you so much. We will miss you. Man, how we will miss you, but I am so happy...so ecstatic...that God chose to put you in our lives. I love you so much, Duffy!!! Love ~ Duffy. Until we meet again, sir. <3

Our loving Richard Allen. You are an angel in heaven now. You & Lindsay had your Own Love Story. I know that for sure, you would tell me how much you loved her. You had a heart like no other. You were there with anyone that needed your help through the good or bad. You smile was definitely one of your loving gifts besides your Bear Hugs. At your Memorial to see all that loved you was a joy to see. Always know that Mama Ringo loves you now & forever, you will be missed but until we meet again. ❤ You, Richard Allen.

Richard was a good, kind and genuine person with a sparkle in his eye that could make anyone smile. The love he and Lindsay shared was beautiful to see, the kind that there should be more of in the world. He will be missed every day.
