Robert Rhodes “Butch” Erwin, 76, of Atascocita, passed away December 7, 2010 in Kingwood. Robert was born in Port Arthur, TX on September 9, 1934 to G.C. “Skip” and Hilda Erwin. He attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX and became an engineer in the Oil and Chemical industry. Butch lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for 2 years and Aruba for 3 years. He was a member of the Humble Area First Baptist Church and volunteered at Memorial Herman Northeast since April 2002. Butch enjoyed traveling, vegetable gardening, bike riding and spoiling puppies. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Dorothy Oliver. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Aline Erwin, daughter Dana Bryant and her husband Lee, son John Erwin and his wife Tracie, stepson Darrell Milligan and his wife Rosie, grandchildren Emily Erwin, Samuel Erwin, Logan Bryant, James Milligan, Joshua Milligan, Shayce Milligan, great grandchildren Alexis Milligan, Briley Milligan and Breelyn Milligan and sister Teddie Gorman as well as numerous other family members and friends who will all miss his presence in their lives.
