Frederick F. Woolworth, dies at 79. Born November 20th 1931. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bailey Woolworth. Graduated from The Taft School, 1950. Joined the firm of Stone Webster where he worked for eight years. Was one of four partners who bought the Detroit Tigers in 1956 and sold his interest in 1962. Purchased many buildings in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1959. Opened Hotel El Convento in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico in February, 1962 and sold in 1972. Opened the Coe Kerr Gallery in 1969 until 1995. Was president of the Art Dealer's Association of America 1986-1991. Was a member of the Arts Advisory Board for the Internal Revenue Service 1982-1984. Survived by eight children, Frederick C, Gigi, Michael, Priscilla, Nena, Pauline, Kingsley and Elizabeth and 12 grandchildren. His constant companion of ten years, Sharon "Sherry" Mills. Funeral services will be held in the Woolworth Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bronx, New York, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 am
