Rosemary Beard

She attended Vinita High School where she was very involved in school activities, and was on the first string of the girls basketball team. From an early age she studied dancing, both in Vinita and Tulsa and regularly performed at civic clubs and organizations. Throughout her life she studied and maintained an interest in interior design, painting, and photography. Because of Husband Bill's many transfers, she had the opportunity to study painting from a number of teachers in the U.S. and Europe.

Rosemary, along with Husband Bill, was a Kingwood resident for 38 years. As a member of the Kingwood Country Club she actively pursued two of her other passions, golf and bridge. For many years she was a member of a book club and the Kingwood Photo Club.

Once, along with a Birthday gift, Bill presented her with a plaque, which read:

"In recognition of thirty seven years of being a loving wife, a faithful companion, a good sport, an exemplary homemaker, a chef extraordinaire, a caring mother, a dog's best friend, and other attributes too numerous to list in this small space."

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill, her daughter Carolyn Monroe, son Jon Monroe and wife Siobhan.
