
Scott Kevin Hochstatter, 67, of Kingwood, TX, unexpectedly passed November 24, 2024. Born in Rockford, IL to Peter & Doris Hochstatter on November 16, 1957. Graduated from Boylan High School in 1975, attended Rock Valley College. His first job was at Logli Supermarket, where he met the love of his life, Andrea. Shortly before his marriage, he began his career in the printing business at Progressive Graphics, leading to a 20+ year journey with American Color to Denver, Tucson and finally Houston. Worked for Vertis, Houston Chronicle, retiring from Hearst Technology in 2023. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and watching Houston sports teams, especially the Houston Astros. A trip to see the New England colors this year was his first and sadly his last trip after retirement. He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Andrea, sons, Drew of San Marcos, TX, Brent & Bryan of Kingwood. His mother, Doris Hochstatter of Highland Village, TX; brothers, Steven (Linda) of Corinth, TX, David of Denver, CO and James (Anita) of Champaign, IL, several nieces, nephews & cousins. Predeceased by his father, uncle and aunt. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be missed by all. Following Andrea’s passing, their ashes will be scattered in their favorite spot, Durango, CO. A celebration of life will be held in 2025. Please check his tribute page on Facebook.
