Sherrill Elaine Rainer

Age 60. Of Livingston, Texas.

Passed away at 4:50 am on February 2, 2016,

At Memorial Herman hospital in Humble, Texas.

Lung Cancer took her from us too soon.

She was born on September 17th, 1955, in Kingman, Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Sherrill Strader and Gerald La Worn Christian. She is also preceded in death by her brother James Allen Strader II and survived by her sister, Brenda Lee Duncan.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Edward Rainer.

Graduate of the University of Phoenix, she spent many years as a home healthcare nurse taking care of the elderly and disabled.

She was a God fearing, Christian woman, who loved and helped everyone. She brought joy to everyone she knew and loved.

She was mother and friend to anyone in need, truly a genuine angel who will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death, by her daughter, Brenda Heather Wingate. Survived by her daughters,

Sunonda Dawn Wingate, age 38, of Alvin, Texas and Sherrill Ione Wingate age 37, of Livingston, Texas.

Also Survived by her sons,

Jonathan Edward Wingate, age 33, Joshua James Wingate, age 30, and step sons, Michael James Rainer, age 38, and Ryan Eugene Mason, age 31, all of Livingston, Texas and step son Mathew Eugene Rainer, age 41, of Georgia.

She is also preceded in death by her grandson Christopher Adam Benn II and survived by many grandchildren including; Krystle Heather Tanner, age 21, of San Marcos, Texas. Krystian Sherrill Stole, age 18, of Livingston, Melinda Rainer of San Antonio, Triston Devon James Tanner age 17, of Alvin, Treanna Michelle and Shaun Douglas Mason of Louisianna, Gerald La Worn Preston Hansen, age 13, of Livingston, Marcus Rainer, of San Antonio, and Alyssa Mason of Louisiana.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 1 pm at the Kingwood Funeral Home. Services will be lead by

Name of officiant, and eulogy by her nephew, William "Corky" Thornton. Momma wished to be cremated so there will not be any type of visitation. There will be a small reception after the memorial service, also at Kingwood Funeral home. We will have an informal spreading of her ashes at the Dodge cemetery, where her husband is laid to rest, as per her request, directly after the reception.

Kingwood funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
