

Born to Hubert and LaVerna Peal (Williams), Steven grew up in Colorado with his brothers Jerry and Randy, and carried a lifelong dedication to family and hard work. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 50 years, Wanda (Fink), and a proud father to his four children: Ben (Tanya) Peal, Christine (Jason) Utesch, Joe (Alyssa) Peal, and Kate (Michael) Jordan. He deeply loved his role as “papa” to his seven grandchildren: Alaina, Will, Sam, Tyler, Daniel, Abi, and Madelyn.
Steven built a remarkable career as a licensed A&P mechanic, beginning with Frontier Airlines and later working for Continental Airlines. Transferring from Denver to Houston in 1996, where he continued his career with Continental and eventually retiring with United Airlines. His work spanned more than four decades, during which he was known for his skill, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Outside of his professional life, Steven cherished time with his family, watching the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos games, and loved his home state of Colorado.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda, his children, his grandchildren, his brothers, and his father. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaVerna Peal (Williams).
There will be a celebration of life on October 4th 2025 1pm, located at Feldman Mortuary, 1673 York Street, Denver, Colorado 80206.
