Sue Castleberry McLeod was born January 28, 1945 in Houston, Texas, to the late Ellis and Elaine Castleberry. She attended Galena Park High School, where she was an Honor Graduate in 1963. Graduating in the first class of Houston Baptist University in 1967, Sue taught math in both Galena Park ISD and Sheldon ISD. A dedicated and caring professional, Sue spent forty-three years as an educator, ending her career helping at-risk students to earn their diplomas. She was an avid reader, a life-long lover of travel, and devoted to her family and friends.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of forty-one years, Anthony (Tony) McLeod; son Brice McLeod; daughter and son-in-law Meredith and Manuel Rosario; grandson, Matthew Rosario; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Kathleen Castleberry; sister, Joyce Goforth; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Warren Brattlof; sister-in-law, Joyce McLeod; and numerous nieces and nephews.
