I will miss you and your sweet words  Thank you for being my friend even when I didn't deserve it, Teska.   Bye, friend.

Teska was one of those few guys that was genuinely kind with a dash of smartass. He also had a weirdness about him that either  made you really uncomfortable or you just sat down and traded stories. Well, we traded ALOT of stories. I was his instigator buddy that got him in silly trouble. I would convince him to play pranks on Strangers, act goofey in public, and any time we were in a store I would scream did you get your panty liners and hemorrhoid cream (his face was priceless.) 
I will never forget me, Michael Sosa, Christopher Warren, and Teska drove to Dallas for a Dallas marathon. We decided to stop by a popular pub for a celebratory beer. After having a beer and eating a pizza Teska and I decided to stay for more celebratory beers and we sent Christopher and Michael home. That was a night the two of us did not meet a stranger. If someone was willing to look us in the eyes we brought them in and got them in trouble. Well, Teska and I stayed out 12 hours going to 7 bars celebrating all night before our marathon. A friend, not Micheal  Chris because  they were asleep, had 
to pick us up on the other side of town. We went home to basicly  Nap for one hour and get up to run the marathon. 
 Let me tell you how we felt, HORRIBLE.  I got up after an hour asleep and went with Christopher and Michael to the marathon while Teska said love your girl but I'm staying in bed. After 2 hours of running  thinking I'm about to die with tequila pouring off my skin I finished the race. When I finished I thought I wanted Teska to suffer like I did, but instead I crossed the finish line and grab two medals. One for me and one for my great friend.
He was a great guy and I am sad I let life get so busy that I lost touch with him. We will see each other again my friend. The running  friends called "Team Teska Down" now has a new meaning. 

I had the great pleasure of knowing and working with Teska. He was a constant pain because he always had to do things his way. At the end of the day he got the job done. It was refreshing every time he walked into the room because he knew If things were troubling me for the day. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Gone to soon. He was my go to person, especially on Receiving activities. I wish we had more time. God got a sassy angel. 

Teska and I met just after I moved to Houston and during one of the darkest times in my life.  I guess he saw someone who needed a friend as was all too happy to fill that roll. One of my fondest memories of him was the first Valentine’s Day after we met. At the time I was recently single and in a new place and he didn’t want me to spend the day alone.  So he got group of his friends together and they all took me to see the LEGO movie. From that time on he would always make sure my Valentine’s Day was special. One year he brought me a giant stuffed dog who I named Freddy Mercury since they were both bigger than life. 

Teska, you were the one who was actually bigger than life. You Sir, were the best friend anyone could ever ask for.  You had the biggest heart and best smile. Every outing we went on together was just the next adventure. Thank you for being you and including me in your life and adventures. I will always love you. I can’t wait till we meet again and go on our next adventure. Until then my friend, I’ll miss you terribly. 

Teska, while I didn’t know you for as long as I would have liked, I had the best of adventures in my life with the years I’ve known you. From bickering like a married couple at home and work, to enjoying the sunset in Los Angeles... life had its ups and downs. Now you start this new adventure.  You finally get to meet my grandmother and share your laughter that I will deeply miss. She will enjoy your company and definitely will like your humor. I wish you the best of sights and travels until we meet again, then you can tell me all about them. I love you. 

I met Teska thru his Mom Winnie, he was such a nice young man ! Always there helping his Mom ! I will never forget him , he was taken too soon! Love you  Teska, May you Rest In Peace !! Truly missed!!

I met Teska through our job at Randalls, Teska was something else I couldn’t stand his ways always has to be perfect I loved that he worked in receiving to bug those guys but when he came out of his box you would know! One Xmas he drew my name until today I still have my gift that we exchange n I will cherish it always like I would when he will give me advice of me taking care of my mother he was one of a kind and will be miss by many!

I went to school with his older brothers and only met Teska as a little boy.  I wish I could have known the man he became.  His brother has always spoken so highly of him.  Reading the memories others have shared, it seems he was truly a light in this world.  Gone too soon, I know he will be dearly missed.  My heart is broken for the Haygood family.   You have my deepest sympathy. 

I met Teska when I was a teenager working at Randalls. I couldn't stand him! He always was so picky about how things were done and had zero issues telling anyone who would listen what you did wrong. Then one day during Christmas time I was stuck waiting for a ride and I waited in the Christmas tree lot with Teska. I am so grateful my Dad was late that day. I gained an amazing friend. It has been almost 25 years and never in my life have a known someone like Teska. He loved with every once of himself and made you feel loved. I spent hours with him doing nothing and those hours are some of my most treasured times. I love him and will miss him everyday of my life. The world is better because Teska was here. 
He was always there for me and I am so grateful to have had him in my life. 

Teska such a great person that was genuine and very kind hearted soul that helped others when and where needed. He will be fondly missed by all the lives he touched.  I compared him to Radar O'Reilly on my Facebook post this morning.  You will be Mr Sunset until we meet again. 

I've known Teska since he was a young man. I didn't see him often but when I did he always had a smile on his face. He truly loved his family and you could see that through his interaction at a family gathering. He may have been the last to arrive but always came bearing treats and that smile. 

Teska will definitely be missed by family and friends. The memories of him will never fade and we will all see him again one day.  

Dear Heavenly Father,  Please look after the family / my family in this difficult time. Give them the strength to bare what has been put on their heart.   Amen

I had the privilege of meeting Teska through a mutual friend four years ago.  He was just a friendly and sweet man.  We ran several marathons together and made some great memories that will stay with me forever.  He was a pretty good runner and I just couldn’t keep up.  It seems God always takes the good ones back home earlier than we want.   Even though he’s not here with us in body, I’m very blessed to have known him and to believe he will be with us in spirit.  Rest well my brother and go rest high on that mountain.  You will be missed.
