

Vincent Germano, passed away at the age of 93 in the comfort of his home in Kingwood, TX, surrounded by family, on Sunday, December 16th, 2018. He was born on March 24th, 1925, to Rose and Rocco Germano, in Poughkeepsie, New York. He was one of 14 children.
During World War II, Vincent joined the US Navy, fighting in both the Italian and African campaigns, one of six sons to serve in the military from that family during World War II. Vincent also had three other brothers who served in the military as well but not during that World War II.
On October 17th, 1948, Vincent married the love of his life, Sophie Theresa Cwik and were happily married for 63 years until her passing on July 18th, 2011.
In the 50's, Vincent started a television repair service but eventually became a prominent and successful builder, contractor/developer. He built apartment complexes as well as whole subdivisions. One of his true enjoyments besides his family was being an avid pilot. He really loved his Mooney airplanes.
First and foremost, Vincent was a wonderful family man! Would do absolutely anything he could for his family and friends. Together, Sophie and Vin raised four children and will be loved and remembered by Veronica, Deborah, Pamela and Wayne. They also have 10 grandchildren: John Vincent, Jennifer, Justin, Christy, April, Crystal, Roger, Sophia, Bella, Yubi; five great-grandchildren Caitlyn, Ryan, Aedan, Payton, Noah Vincent and countless nieces and nephews.
