Passed away peacefully at Lanark Heights on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Loving husband of Claire (nee Malo). Dear father of Valerie, Norma and Jennifer. Cherished Grandpa of Andrew (Erin), Samantha (Mark), Robyn, Jesse-Clare (Junius) Holly, Cory (Allie). Will be sadly missed by his sister Deloris McCormick. Predeceased by his twin brother Jim (2013) and sister Yvonne Anderson. Bert, a respected artist will be fondly remembered by the many friends he made in the community. Bert’s family will receive friends and relatives at Westmount Funeral Chapel (1001 Ottawa St. S, Kitchener) on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 2-4:45 p.m. followed by a celebration of Bert’s life in the funeral home chapel at 5 p.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
