The world seems a bit empty without my sweet "Aunt Freidie'. I had the joy of spending lots of time as an extension of the family with Chris on weekly sleep overs, family trips and dinners.
We had a very special connection and giggled so much when we were together or chatting on the phone. She called me "My Little Janie". 
Tony and I will miss her so much. A few of our favourite qualities and memories about her include: sense of humour (great giggle), cottage holidays, interest in others, commitment to her faith, healthy lifestyle, Jay's fan, speed walker, independence and love of family. Our hearts reach out to the family during this difficult time. May you find comfort from the love, support and fond stories from others.

I always remember Freda, and daughter Christine, across from the Oberholtzers, I remember she kept driving for a long time and to church, hope she joins the "group" , of Dick Street and Melbourne, looking from above, regards John Kehn and family.

Another of my mom’s friends passed on. Freida’s name was frequently spoken in Wanda Kalbfleisch’s home.   The matriarch has passed but her example lives on. Both my mom, Wanda Kalbfleisch, and Ann Stecho, enjoyed Freida’s friendship from before they all married and that friendship continued for years.

Our parents were friends before any of us were born. What a gift of friendship that has continued over our lifetimes. You are all in my thoughts at this time of loss and mourning. I imagine there are many smiles too with lots of good stories. Freida gave witness to a faith-filled life well lived and fully enjoyed. She could always be counted on to lend a helping hand- as well as the many hands of cards that she played with friends.

My sincerest condolences to the family.  Frieda was always the most interesting person to talk to. I admired her participation at an Alpha group as well. She didn’t hesitate to dive into conversation and discuss faith openly with others. An admirable faith-filled lady who will be missed by many. RIP Frieda. 

Dear Members of the Cole family,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Frieda. Growing up in Lourdes Parish, and for many years sitting near the Cole family in Church, I came to know Frieda. She played cards and quilted with my Mom, so she was often in our home, always with her broad smile and cheery disposition. While I served at St. Francis Parish our paths often crossed as she spent time with Loretta, Bernice and Eileen in Parish activities and celebrations. Laughter and good times always followed them around! I will keep dear Frieda in my prayers, and all of you, that our faith in the resurrection of Jesus will bring you peace and consolation.

I'm so sorry I cannot be in Kitchener this week to celebrate the life of your amazing Mom. I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Frieda and Uncle Bill.

Aunt Frieda, May Our Lord gather you in His arms and welcome you home.  I’m sure there is lots of laughter, stories to catch up on and a deck of cards ready as your heavenly family greets you.  Give my mom and dad a hug for me!  
To my cousins, you did a wonderful job of caring for your amazing mother!  Love to all! The Dietrich legacy lives on in all of us!

Frieda and Bill were wonderful neighbours for over 50 years.  She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.  Each time we look in to Frieda's lovely backyard we will remember her warm smile and kindness.   In loving memory from Don and Carolyn Fedy and family.
