Our deepest Sympathies Sonja and Mike.  It can be so hard to face the new year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

My deepest sympathy to Sidney, Sonja and family.  My mother (Brenda Connor) was good friends with Anna when she was at Forest Heights for one year!  I moved my mother away and she was never the same.  She missed Anna and their friendship.  My mother passed away in May and it gives me a nice feeling that they are together again.  So very sorry for your loss and the pain you are dealing with.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  I have to work on Sunday or I would have come by.    Our family was deeply saddened to hear of Anna's passing - for the loss that will be felt by Sidney, Sonja and family.  You are such a close-knit family, who have supported each other and have cared for each other faithfully.  I was truly blessed to know Anna.  She always gave so generously of her smiles, her wisdom from years of looking after animals, her sunny outlook on life, and whatever else she could offer!  It was so plain to see how she cherished her family, and they loved her back!  I know she will be watching them from her window in heaven, and letting them know she sends her love and care until they are all re-united again.

Our family will miss Aunt Anna very much.  She was a very loved family member who always had a little something for us.  I enjoyed the visits to her home alot.

My deepest condolence goes to Sidney and his family at this most difficult time.  Over the years I have come to know Sidney at Forest Heights Long Term Care where my aunt Ivy has lived and I have been greatly impressed by Sidney's love and devotion to his beloved mother Anna.  Sidney demonstrated utmost unconditonal love and support during what was a difficult journey his mother was on the past few years.  Despite her great struggles, I remember Anna's warm smile and positive attitude and every time I would ask Sidney how his mother was doing he would beam with pride and would beam with the love and admiration he had for his mother.  I have rarely seen such love demonstrated by a son and it has always served as a source of inspiration with my journey with Ivy who has also battled against great odds and challenges and I too would like to extend a thank-you to the caring and professional staff at Forest Heights Long Term Care who have made Forest Heights a home.  Anna will be greatly missed at Forest Heights.  I will remember her smile and laughter and although Anna's loss will be great for Sidney, Sidney should be greatly comforted by the fact that he was there for his mother with unyielding love and support.  Sidney remember all the great times you had with your mother and know that she will never truly be gone.  Ivy and I wish you all the best during what will be an extremely difficult time.  Sidney you should be proud for being a great son, and know that you had a very special mother who loved and was loved.
