Beloved husband of Barbara Stager for almost 54 years. Dear father of Diana and Jenn (Scott). Loved Papa of Graeme, Edwin, Daenera, Vivian, Allie, Sydney (Cam), and Great Papa of Maeve. Dear brother of RuthAnn (late Bert), Jerry (Api), Ross (Marg), and Frankie (Jean), and brother-in-law of Judy. Predeceased by his siblings Robert, Betty, Carl (Frances), Johnny, and Isabell (Frank), and by his parents Arthur and Rose Stager.
Art worked for nearly 30 years for Kaufman's Footwear and as a custodian for the WRDSB.
In his spare time, Art loved to golf, play cards, and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at University Gates - Johnston Neighbourhood for their kind and compassionate care in Art's final months.

Cremation has taken place. Art's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., where a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations would be appreciated to The Village at University Gates, 250 Laurelwood Dr., Waterloo, ON N2J 0E2, or to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, 835 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1G3.
