Barbara Jean Watson

Every once in a while we are blessed to have an angel enter our lives. Barbara Jean Watson, wonderful wife, beautiful mother, fantastic daughter and sister, slipped away from us. Barb fought a most valiant fight leaving behind a family that loved her immensely. Left to mourn is Barb’s loving husband Jeff Watson, wonderful daughter Courtney and her significant other Gavin. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Mary Watson, she leaves behind her siblings Janice (Doug) Dietrich, Susan Freeman (Richard Morand), Carol (Mike) Armstrong, Richard (Liz) Watson and Jill (Shaun) Buckwald, her in-laws Robert and Sue Watson and Jeff’s siblings James (Juli) Watson, Cathy (Trevor) Wilkinson and Lisa (Dave) Moore. Auntie Barb will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Please join Barb’s Family to celebrate her life at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.) on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A private funeral service will be held, interment will be at Williamsburg Cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bahl, and oncology nurses Brenda and Angela at the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre; and to Mona who became a much loved friend, you were all wonderful.
