Ken often spoke fondly of his times together with Fred and Betty while in Kitchener, and Ken and I enjoyed many fun times in Florida with them both. She was such a lovely lady and she was married to such a fun loving guy. My condolences to the family.

It was a pleasure delivering Meals on Wheels to Betty. Our Tuesday visits would warm my heart -- she always seemed genuinely pleased to see me each week, and we would spend time chatting about different things. Her cheerful, humour-loving, and friendly attitude impressed me and will not be forgotten. And she was such a good sport about doing the Meals on Wheels video segment.
I wish the entire family comfort. Betty will be missed.

Hello Paul,

It has been a long, long time ago that we last saw each other. My sincerest sympathies to you and your family. It is not easy to lose a loved one. I know. I lost Margaret a few months ago.

Dear Scott (Suzanne), Paul and Carol. My deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. I remember your mom and dad from my youth; from our occasional visits when our family, Ross & Helen Zinken brother Brian and I, visited with the Hildebrand and Knipfel families in Petersburg, ON. It’s a comfort I’m sure to know your mom is at peace and reunited with your dad. Please know the Good Shepherd walks with you through the valley of the shadow of death and will turn your mourning and sorrow into great joy, comfort and peace. Thinking of you today and in the weeks to come. Rev. Bruce W. Zinken Edmonton, AB
