Carol was a precious sister in Christ! When I first started to attend Hope Fellowship, it was Carol that made me feel welcome right away. And this was her gift to all of us! No one could enter that meeting place without Carol doing her best to make them feel welcome. And she extended that beyond those walls to phone calls just to check up on you. And in the last few years that was all the while in poor health herself. Carol truly was Jesus to many of us. 

Mom:
I thought I had come to realize that there is no appropriate combination of words to accurately describe you.  You were and and will always be my first love.  You were beautiful, fun, and caring.  You inspired, loved and offered wisdom to anyone who was blessed to have you in their life.  We came across and old bible the other day.  I opened it to the tassel marking and it was at Psalm 23.  Remember that one mom, you helped me memorize it for Sunday school many years ago.  "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."  As I read it, it hit me.  This was YOU!! A woman of great faith who always wanted for others, never selfishly for self.  Thank you for bringing me onto this earth mom.  I Love you.  Rest in peace with Andrea and I will look for you both in the stars.

Carol loved people. She loved them with her whole heart,  and almost immediately.  She talked a mile a minute, and I think part of that was so that she could get all the love into a conversation all at once! Though we had not been in attendance regularly at Hope Fellowship for a time, we loved getting together with Carol and other friends for a semi-regular Cribbage tournament (nobody counted points faster than Carol!) and it was always great fun to catch up. We love her and will miss her spirit greatly. 

As a member of Hope Fellowship:  Carol was one of the most amazing selfless people I’ve ever met.  She ‘always’ looked out for others, deeply wanting others to feel welcome and comfortable, especially at Hope Fellowship.  She would sit with first time guest if they came alone, and would make sure everyone was greeted warmly.  When asked how she was doing, her standard response was ‘ticketyboo’….. even when her disease really took hold of her, she still didn’t want to burden others with her ‘ills’.  She made meals and dropped them off when someone was ill, or had a baby.  She single handedly reached out to those who needed a visit and gentle care.  She was absolutely a ‘Saint’ inside and out.  SHE was the light at Hope Fellowship that everyone noticed.  SHE was the one who stayed later to clean up messes after events.  SHE was the model servant….. and modeled Jesus….VERY WELL.  You will be greatly missed and were deeply loved.

Carol welcomed John and I so warmly when we first joined Hope Fellowship. She always made us feel comfortable and always engaged in conversation. 
We feel privileged to have known her. She was such a loving individual. 
We will miss you Carol....you are one of a kind for sure.

Carol was the kindest woman I have ever met! I have such fond memories of her when I attended Hope Fellowship. She had an inside joke with me that kept us bonded over the years. I'll also be  "Alice" to her and I won't forget the wonderful person Carol was. 

What an amazing caring and welcoming person Carol was . She was always quick to help with clean up after services and was very much a servant. Praying for strength comfort and peace for Dave, Dom and the rest of the family. 

We met Carol at Hope Fellowship.  She was kind and welcoming with a lovely disposition, a twinkle in her eye and definite sense of humor.  She was often accompanied by her grandson Dom, a wonderful young man who made his grandmother very proud.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave and the entire family.  Rest peacefully now Carol.

What can we say about our dear Carol.   She lived out her faith in a very practical way.   Her presence was quite, but very present!   Her smile was radiant, and her welcome, warm and inclusive.  She met the challenges of a failing earth suit, with courage, and a “tickety  boo”( one of her sweetest sayings)!   Even on the hardest of days, her life remained tickety boo!   She never waivered , and I know that now she is indeed TICKEY BOO, hanging  out with those who have gone before her.   
We feel  privileged to have known Carol, and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her well.   Her Legacy is one of love, faith, courage, and hope!   We will miss your presence, Carol, till we meet again!

Carol was an absolutly delightful loving compassionate lady . We will miss her . She always loved to tease us about getting a dog . She also loved to play cribbage .  We will miss her . 

Carol met us our very first Sunday at Hope Fellowship and encouraged us to stay for the Pot Luck Lunch. We declined but she made sure we went home with Chilli in paper cups plus some desserts.
Carol made us feel so welcome that day and every other time we were with her.  
Heaven has gained another Saint and Carol has seen Jesus and her daughter who she told us about. 
My sincere sympathy to her husband Dave and the rest of her family.  
Carol will never be forgotten!  I look forward to finding her in Heaven and rejoicing with her when I get there! 


Remembering Carol at Hope Fellowship each week with her wonderful smile and caring interaction with all of us. We will greatly miss her.

We have many beautiful memories of Carol and her indomitable spirit. No matter what she was facing, her upbeat response that everything was "tickety-boo" would lift the spirits of everyone around her. 
We had the wonderful experience of visiting with Andrea in B.C. many years ago and were able to see the same attitude and resolve in her life as well.
Carol was a humble, faith-full, grace-filled lady.
We are comforted knowing that they are reunited now and everything is indeed "tickety-boo" for them both as they live in the embrace of a Father who has always loved them (and all those they leave behind). 
We will miss her and we are thinking of Dave, Derek, Colleen, Maddie, Dom and Caiden at this time and praying for peace and comfort for them all.
