It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Paul Gascho peacefully in the loving arms of his wife Ana and with her children at his side at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, on Monday, April 27, 2026. We celebrate a life well lived here on earth and the beginning of his everlasting life with his Lord and Saviour.
Chris was 42 years old, born to Paul and Sharon Gascho. Perfect and loving husband to Ana, devoted father to Zion, Chenia, Josiah and Lilly. Stepfather to Nancy, Kate and Jacob. He will be sadly missed by his father Paul and wife Jannette. Cherished brother to Joy and Brandon. Admired uncle to Trinity (Jason), Jade and Liam (Rosie). Pre-deceased by his sister Heidi (2013) and his mother Sharon (2019). Loved and respected by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends and relatives may visit at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Friday, May 1st, from 6pm to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at Bloomingdale Base Church, 850 Sawmill Rd., Bloomingdale, on Saturday, May 2nd, at 12 pm. Light refreshments and reception to follow. A private family burial has taken place at Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Li Fraumeni Syndrome Association.
