Auntie, I remember when you and cousin Karen took me to BINGO every Wednesday nite. Auntie taught me how to swear! She would even swear for me when I was only one number away from BINGO and got beat by some old grannie. 
Thanks Auntie for all the lessons and laughs. I will always remember Aunt Clara when I hear BINGO!

Aunt Clara, I remember all the BBQ's at Kaufman Flats and Holiday Beach. The gatherings at our home on Well Street in Stratford and at my Aunt Evelyn's when she lived above my Grandmother's home on Nile Street. Always plenty of good food and them dancing in the kitchen. I enjoyed visiting Aunt Clara and her family in Kitchener on Highland Road. Hanging out with my cousins, Larry and Karen. Many laughs and stories. Best times were the gatherings with all home cooking, prune buns, potatoe pancakes and great desserts.

I remember the time we invited my sister Clara and Roland over for a New Years Eve Party and they arrived with 20 other people! They cleared out the kitchen table, we set up the stereo and danced all nite with everyone that we cracked the floor joists in the kitchen! 
Music and Dancing was always a part of our lives since we were young kids. Back in Krydor on the farm we would all go 3miles down the road to the Laffner's farm. I would play guitar and sing and my little sister Clara would play along. When we were teenagers, 16 years old, the neighbors would show up to dance and party. As we got older, 20 years old, Clara and I would always go out Saturday nights to dances. We would have to walk 10miles one way. Mom and Dad always said "be home by sunrise" to do chores. After a full night of dancing we did chores. Clara always managed to sneak in the hay for a sleep.
I have great memories of my sister growing up. I miss her dearly.

Grandma, I have so many memories that I will cherish forever... I remember driving with you thinking we were going pretty fast and when I looked to see, you were doing 80km in a 50km... You just said to me, ahhhh I'm fine... I now know were I got my heavy foot from... I remember you always cooking and baking and they were the best meals ever.. I know were I got my love for trying new things from... I also remember that your door was always open for anyone that wanted to come over and have a game of cards and a beer with you... I really miss playing with you and losing all the time... I thought it was so cool that my grandma was still going to the stampede well into her 80's, I hope I'll have your same energy when I get older..
 I'm so happy that you got to meet your great grandchildren, you were always asking me when I was going to make you a great grandma lol .. 
We all miss you so much but you will never be forgotten.... You were such an amazing grandma, mother, sister, wife and friend and I'll always be so proud to have been your granddaughter....

Clara was a wonderful person and I fondly remember how kind her and Rolly were to me when I was growing up.  They shared there home and even took me to their trailer for a weekend or two.  I loved her cooking and I especially liked the fancy sandwiches she use to make with Betty.  I remember those when she was having a party.  Their door was always open.  Rest in peace Clara!

Clara was a friendly, enthusiastic and fun loving individual. 
A fantastic cook. Borsch, homemade pies, ox-tail soup, donuts, prune buns, pickled corn, jams, cinnamon buns, cabbage rolls, stewed tomatoes, canned fruits, and Christmas cookies.
I enjoyed everything, except the excess garlic-haha.
She will be missed!

Clara will be missed. We had some fun days with her and Rolly, Jim and Karen playing wild rummy and having a couple of drinks. I must say those were good times you never forget. She is playing with the angels now.

Grandma, you became a part of my life 18 years ago when I met Kelly. From that moment,  I knew you where someone special. I was always elated and enjoyed your presence and good company; whether it was a party or when you would come over for a visit.

I remember when I would come home from a long day at work and we would play cards, have a glass of wine and a ciggy. Those moments I will cherish and forever hold close to my memory and heart- you instantly made me feel a part of the family.

You taught us all the value of strength, perseverance and hope; and not to mention the ability to reduce the worries of everyday life- that's just who you were.

You created with us, and left a legacy to be remembered for a lifetime. Grandma, you were my extended family and I was blessed to be a part of your journey; If love could have saved you, your journey in this life would have never ended. And may that love be received in the next life as it was here.

Grandma you were a friend and your presence will be greatly missed. You fought hard till the end. Now that you have made the transition from this life to the next, may you be at home for eternity with the ones who have gone before us all.

I thank the divine creator for having you in our lives, but now I know I have one more soul looking down on me. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Gramma was an amazing woman. She touched so many people's lives in so many ways. All of the years I knew her I could see how she enriched the lives of everyone around her. Playing bingo, (B7 come 11) – breakfast at Angels, scratch tickets, random spur of the moment trips to the casino, all kept her going throughout the days during the week. Because of the bond with Kelly, she was always on the go and we all got to have her as a part of our lives. Gramma would out dance me every time we'd hit the dance floor at the Stampede Corral... The only way I could get a break from dancing was to ask her if she wanted a smoke... The answer always being yes, she'd drag me out there quicker then I could register that she responded to me. I was very lucky to have her in my life and that I got to spend the amount of time that I did get to over the past 11 years. I was very thankful that I got to say my final goodbye to her directly.  She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. Although she may not be published into the history books, anyone who met Clara knows, she was an amazing woman in history.

Kelly, Grandma was quite the woman! You kept her young and she kept you entertained. I have so many memories of you two, her Bingo scratch tickets, many drinks and leading the way with the ever famous "Grandma's loaded!". She was such a fantastic woman, I know I'll always remember the times I spent with you girls. What a great woman to have known.

Kelly my good friend you were so loved by this lady you are so lucky to have had a person like this in your life for so long not like people like me who never knew any grandparents at all remember the good times you two had and think fondly of her often may God bless both of you.

From the first day I met gramma, she was full of spirit and energy. All she needed to put a smile on her face was music, a dance and a smoke. 
I'll never forget her. She will be in my heart forever.

I think the first time we met Kelly we also met Clara (aka Grandma) at the same time. Grandma would come to all the house parties and every outing to the Stampede. You would always find her up there dancing away to country, or when you went to get a haircut from Kelly we always had to play cards with Grandma while waiting! From dinners at Angels to eating jello shooters with a spoon we will always have fond memories of a wonderful lady! Gone but never forgotten, love to Kelly and her family xo

Clara was one of my amazing sisters. I have wonderful memories. She was the best cook - everything made from scratch and delicious. As the years went by and our families grew up we had more time for eachother. We would get together often and have so much fun, eating good food, talking, laughing and playing a lot of Bingo.

Gramma, I remember you when you lived on Highland Road and you hollaring upstairs, waking me up at 7am to make padahas - rolling dough out perfectly, cutting out the squares in your blue kitchen that Kevin and I painted for you. The smell of fresh dill in the air that you and I picked out of Bah-bah's garden in the back yard. Four hours of making padahas with you sipping on your gingerale, listening to the Country Western radio and puffing on your 100's menthol cigarettes. We played Wild Rummy and Double Decker after your Soaps until 7 o'clock, then, we would watch Wheel of Fortune together. Ohhh, the fun we would have- throwing the cards back and forth claiming that each other was "cheating" and the laughter and frustration over the cards, anticipating the "out card". We would playfully tease each other, name-calling all in good fun. I can't count how many times we would throw the cards at one another, just to pick them up and deal them out again.
 This is just a tiny glimpse into the bank of memories I will cherish always. I miss driving around with you dancing beside me, and blasting the Country tunes in my car! We did a lot of errands and I was happy just to have you beside me smiling. I know you're smiling within me now. I will hold these memories in my heart eternally.

My deepest sympathy to Kelly and family on the passing of gramma. I remember many times playing Bingo with gramma and Kelly and I would miss numbers, gramma and Kelly would always show me after they were done their cards. Until we can play again gramma. I will never forget about the special relationship between Kelly and her gramma, my thoughts are with you Kelly.

I did not know Clara as Clara....I knew her as Grandma.  I was a young man when I lost both my grandmothers, but when I met Kelly and she introduced me to her beloved gem, (grandma), I knew life had given me another chance to have "that bond" only few are granted in life.  Grandma(Clara) was always full of life and energy, and her smile shed a rainbow on all those who met her.  I will always cherish our dances together, our scratching of a Bingo ticket, a toasting  to good friends, and more important, I will always cherish you.....Grandma.

I am very sorry to hear Clara had passed away. I have never had the opportunity to meet Clara, but from what I heard, she was an awesome lady. The funeral was beautiful and one of a kind!

Back in grade 9 when I became good friends with Kelly I had the joy of meeting Gramma and spent a lot of time at her house. Seeing the bond they had was wonderful. Sorry on the lost of wonderful person and Grandmother who was full of life and excitement. She was never was lost for words and adventure. Our deepest sympathy to the Keyko family on the passing of Clara Keyko.  I have many fond memories of being with Aunt Clara and Uncle Roland in Kitchener when we were children.  Many Christmases and special holidays were spent together  with our families. I have great memories of eating her famous Cinnamon buns, along with many other great meals around her welcoming table. There was never a lack of fun or food.     Time passes, but memories remain.

It feels like only yesterday I saw Kelly and her Grandma dancing the night away. It was a bond like no other. I'm so so sorry for your loss but know there is one more angel looking over you now.

I remember a woman who was full of life, loved to dance and loved to scratch her tickets. I will carry those fond memories with me forever.  May you keep dancing and scratching those tickets up in heaven Gma.
