Beloved husband of Judy (nee Kilbasco) Oliver for 47 years. Dear father of Carrie (nee Oliver) Kraehling (Mark Naylor) and Terry Oliver. Beloved grandfather of Connor and Owen. Dear brother of Jack Oliver (Freda), Marilyn Oliver (Damien Bradley), and Mary McColough (Paul) and brother-in-law of Shirley Brydon (Bob), and Larry Kilbasco (Roxanne). Also remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and his extended family back home in Newfoundland. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Winnifred Oliver, his sister Agnes Oliver, and his brother Terry Oliver. Don was born in Gander, Newfoundland on July 18, 1951, moving to Ontario at 17 years of age, where he met Judy. Don and Judy married in 1971. Before his retirement, Don enjoyed his lengthy career as a professional truck driver for National Grocers, Knechtel’s, Sure-Link, and Linamar. Don’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 12:30 – 1:15 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m., with Brianne Zimmerman officiating. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
