Hello Karen
Sorry for the passing of your mother. I wanted to get to the memorial service this past Saturday but the snow storm and another funeral service prevented me attending both.

I remember you and your mother from Laurier when she was head of the Business Office. Dorothy was always mentoring us young gals and I remember her genuine personality, spirit for life and what a good all around person she was to all.

Thank you to all who braved the weather today to pay their respects to our sweet mother. It was a perfect tribute and exactly what she would have wanted. Today was a testament to the way momma lived her life. It was a day filled with laughter, joy and sweet memories. We were the most the fortunate of children to have had her in our life for so very long. In her honour we will continue to be the loving family she raised.

To the family of Dorothy Miller, I posted yesterday, not sure it it went through. Sincere condolences to you all. I am sure your mother will be missed. She was as the obit read one of the nicest , kindest, persons I have known. I believe that is why I remember her so well.
Ken MIller was a first cousin to my father Ross Miller, and he and your family would make a few trips to our farm usually on a Sunday evening for a walk about and visit.
Ken and Dad were great friends and enjoyed each others company.
Memories also of Gr. uncle Simon and Gr. Aunt Clara. Such hard workers. I do genealogy so have a lot of names of "Miller" Simon came from a family of 14.
I wished I would have looked up Dorothy over the years and went and had a chat with her. . ,
Regards, Annabelle.
I live in Hanover as of 2 years ago, we lived on a farm close to my parents for abt. 50 years.

My husband George and I got to know Dorothy when we started sharing the same table for meals at The Court at Laurelwood. Her upbeat attitude and lovely smile was always a pleasure to see. We send our condolences to all her family - you were so lucky to have her for your Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. Her suite was directly opposite ours and we miss seeing her every day.

Dorothy holds a special place in my heart. She was my neighbour for over 20 years and my go to person for my garden questions. Dorothy was always a positive person who loved to share a smile and a laugh. She made the world a better place!

Dianne, Lorrie, Jim, Karen, Scott and families. Our thoughts are with you and your families as you mourn the loss and as the same time, celebrate the long and incredible life of your mother.

I have fond memories of Aunt Dorothy from my childhood - especially how she reminded me of Grandma Hepburn.

She had a wonderful, productive life - as evidenced by the family legacy she has left behind. I am sure you and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will all miss her very much. ( I became a grandfather this past year - so I can only guess at the pride and love she must have felt).

Condolences and best regards,
Chris, Simona, Brittany (Blenkhorn), and Conor Hepburn
