Douglas very much enjoyed the company of his numerous nieces and nephews, many of whom recently helped him celebrate his 90th birthday. Doug retired from a long career with the Brewers Retail where he was instrumental in establishing and maintaining a union and credit union. He spent many hours mentoring and counseling others in this capacity. He excelled at darts, cribbage, horseshoes and his sense of humour. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at University Gates for their friendship, kind words and love shown for their "gentleman". Cremation has taken place.
