Douglas Alfred Totzke

Passed away at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Sunday, October 30, 2016, at the age of 79 years. Lovingly missed by his sweetheart of 47 years, Emilie Totzke (nee LaFlamme). Dear father of Dan (Gail), Brian, and Bradley (Denise). Loved grandfather of Derek, Kara, Jordan, Zachary, Jacob, Matthew, Camryn, and Michael. Dear brother of Ken Totzke (Nancy), Marie Duval, Fred McCulley (late June), and brother-in-law of Annette Totzke. Also remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Richard and his parents Irvin and Mary Totzke. Doug worked for many years as a meat inspector at J.M. Schneider and Piller's Delicatessen. Doug’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 49 Blueridge Ave., Kitchener, on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 am, with Fr. Joseph de Viveiros, C.R. officiating. Cremation will follow, interment later in Parkview Cemetery.
