Loving husband to Rodika for 42 years. Dearest father to Andreja of Toronto, and Bojan (Sonya Mehta) of Waterloo and proud deda to his only grandson, Milan.
Dragan's desire to help his niece Patricija Marjan (Calgary, Alberta) was realized when she completed her PhD studies at the University of Waterloo.
Dragan is survived by his extended family in Prigrevica, and many friends and colleagues in Zrenjanin and Jankov Most, Serbia. Dragan had many colleagues at United Taxi and friends throughout Ontario who will miss him dearly.
Dragan was born in the city of Sombor, Serbia to Jeka (nee Miljanović) and Djuro Carić. He was an only child. In his youth, Dragan practiced hand ball, soccer and table tennis to name a few sports. He completed his studies as a stationary engineer where he worked in the town of Elemir before circumstances brought the family to Canada in 1989 and they settled in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Family will receive friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Monday, July 26, 2021 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery with graveside service commencing at 2:30 p.m.
