Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday May 5, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Marion Violet Ann (nee Schlueter) Doerr. Dear father of Shelly Heynemans (nee Doerr) and Jack, Steven Schlueter, Mark Schlueter, Michael Schlueter, Timothy and Andrea Schlueter, Lori Schlueter and Karl Sternberg, Lesa Schlueter and Will Palumbo. Grandfather of Crystal, Tamara, Jesse, Gordon, Brandon, Mason, Dalton, Brittney, Josh, Denise, Lynda, James, Cheryl, Nathan and Chandra. Great Grandfather of 23 and great great grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Richard Doerr. Predeceased by his mother Helen (nee Templeman) and father William Doerr. Edward’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener, 519-743-8900 on Tuesday, May 10 from 6-9 pm and Wednesday, May 11 from 11-1. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1 pm with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
