Beloved husband of 58 ½ years to Susan (nee Lane). Cherished dad to Bonnie (Daniel), Brenda (Andrew) and Terri (David) all of Kitchener. Forever loved Gpa to Beth (Erik), Katie (Matt), Megan (Adam), Rebecca, Brandon, Rachel (Brandon), Chesley and GGpa to Lennox and Nora all of Kitchener. Survived and remembered by his brother Terry, (Mary Lou) of Windsor and sister Sharon of Peterborough. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Yvette Killen of Peterborough.
Besides his family Eldon had many passions. He loved Jeopardy, playing horseshoes and darts and watching Notre Dame, the Montreal Canadians and the Toronto Blue Jays. Eldon was a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an Honorary Life Member 3rd Degree for 47 years and an Honorary Life Member 4th Degree for 44 years. He was also a lifetime member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Family invite friends on Thursday, April 4th at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, for visitation from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Knights of Columbus prayer service will be said at 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 Laurentian Drive, on Friday April 5th at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow.
