Elfriede Hein

Passed away, peacefully, on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital at 89 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Franz Hein (2003). Loved and sadly missed by her daughter Elfrieda Grisch and her husband Gary. A loving Oma to her granddaughter, Suzanne Mathis and her husband Tim and her great-grandchildren Nicole, Megan and Gavin Mathis. Dear sister to Edith Lauffer (late Willi), and Artur Schallon (Thea) in Germany. Predeceased by her sister Margot Wyhoda (late Emerich). Oma will be deeply missed by her family and friends in both Canada and Germany and will be remembered for having had a meaningful impact on 3 generations of family members. She will live in our hearts and memories forever.

Friends will be received at Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 12:30 - 1:15 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Cremation to follow. Interment later in Woodland Cemetery.
