Elizabeth "Betty" Epp Waldie (Ziegler)

Passed away peacefully at Forest Heights Long Term Care, on Friday, May 6, 2011. She was born in Reesor, Ontario on December 18, 1928 to the late John and Annie Epp. She was married to Gordon Ziegler who predeceased her on January 21, 1970. Her second husband, Roy Waldie, predeceased her on April 15, 2011. She is survived by her children, Ruth (Dennis) Willfang, Dennis, Gordon and Peter Ziegler, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Helen, Annie, Marie, Erma and Frieda and brother John. Predeceased by sisters Kay, Joyce, Susan and Agnes. Visitation will take place at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener on Monday, May 9th from 7 until 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, May 10th at 1 p.m. with Pastor Val Hennig officiating. After the reception at the funeral home, interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at (519) 743-8900.
