Elvera Einwechter

Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at The Westmount Long Term Care Centre on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the age of 93. Daughter of the late Reinhold and Henrietta Herz. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Einwechter (2010). Predeceased by her daughter Loralee (1997) and infant brother Kenneth. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Jim and Marilyn Einwechter and Bob and Barb Hallman. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends as a happy, fun-loving lady. Elvera will be missed by her in-laws Gertie Einwechter and Orville Einwechter (Anna) Elvera was a longtime member and dedicated church worker of St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee. She loved to bake and cook, specializing in tea biscuits and homemade preserves from her garden. Shopping trips, Bingo, and Sunday afternoon card games were favourite pastimes. Special thanks and appreciation is extended to the wonderful and supportive staff at The Westmount Long Term Care Centre, where Elvera made her home for the past 6 years. Elvera’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 10:00 – 10:45 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
