Dave passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Wiarton Hospital at the age of 66 years. Dearly loved husband of 41 years to Dianne and cherished father of Nicole Wey. Dave enjoyed being surrounded by the love of his immediate and extended family, usually around a campfire with a cigarette and a cold beer. He will also be sadly missed by Desi. A dedicated and hard worker, Dave was always at the ready to help and to pitch in, he will be missed by all whose lives he touched. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, on Saturday, August 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., casual attire is encouraged. A private graveside service will follow at Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the KW Humane Society are appreciated.
