Passed away peacefully on December 4, 2012 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Heinrich. Loving mother of Annerose (late husband Gerhard) Wittmeier; Roland and wife Sherilyn; Werner; and Jurgen Grewenig. Dear grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Gertrude is the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents and 6 siblings. She was a proud member of the New Apostolic Church. If you so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visiting will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2012 from 12-1 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 1 pm. held at Westmount Funeral Chapel (1001 Ottawa St. S. 519-743-8900).
