Gosh I don't even know what to say, the saying you don't know what you've got til it's gone is an understatement. You never know how much you treasure holiday dinners with family and little things like sharing a plane ride to Nova Scotia and a weekend camping trip where surely we brought enough food for 6 weeks, even though it rained we laughed until it hurt. It didnt matter if it was the middle of the night or middle of the afternoon my nan was ALWAYS there for me. She drove me to the hospital to have my oldest Ocean at 2am, she went through red lights and I told her not to panic but those who know her well know how well she listened! Lol,  She would always care to the point of driving herself crazy, she would always check in, always make sure everyone, was ok. My kids would dig through the snack cupboards daily and I would get mad, but nan would tell me to "Lay off!!" Haha. always making sure there was endless goodies for them, If there really is Angels on earth she was definitely one of them. Nan said all her grandbabies and great grandbabies were the apple of her eye, but really, she was ours. It wrenched my heart to see her so frail in the hospital, she wouldn't have wanted that, she always made herself to be strong no matter what she was silently battling. So for those that never got the chance to go, just know I am sure that she wouldve rathered you to keep that strong brave caring and fun lady in your memories anyways. My heart is so so heavy to say good bye but knowing how much she cares and loves her family and friends, I know she won't be far. Rest now, in the sweetest of peace, I love you so much Nanny <3

oh auntie i can,t believe you are gone  ss i never got to see you in the hospital but you were in my prayers and thoughts all the time memories we all got   lots of funny one and sad ones but thats what life is  just remember all the pig roasts at moms apt just lots of fun and laughs  my special aunt you can rest now with momma and every one until we meet again  love you  silly rabbit
