Gordon William Witt

A dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Surviving with many cherished memories are his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Jean Witt (nee Bennett), and his sons David (Linda), Barry (Delores), and Jeff (Kathleen), as well as grandchildren Kaitlin, Nathan, and Erin; siblings Harold (Verna), Marlene (George) Wakutz, Ron (Linda), the late Ruby and Ken Kesseling, and the late Bill Witt . Survived by sister-in-law Sharon Witt

Gord was an avid golfer and curler as a longtime member of Foxwood Golf Club and The Granite Curling Club; he was an active Solo player and dedicated member of Calvary United Church. He will be remembered for his 27 years in the business community operating Witt’s Superette Variety & Gift Store on Hoffman St. N., Kitchener.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends and family will be received at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener 519-743-8900) on Wednesday, July 22 from 6-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
